Looks & Libros

In college, I was obsessed with this blog, Books & Liquor. I remember finding it shortly before I started my first year. I remember the anxiety I felt about starting at Harvard; I had so much to be afraid of… and also, so much to be excited about. That blog felt like an entry point into a world that I could have only ever dreamed of.

It wasn’t anything fancy— each post consisted of a few pictures of an outfit that caught the author’s attention, and short musings. Its simplicity and ease are something I think about often.

With our recent move to Mexico City, my eyes have gorged on the visual feast of the people here. I think I’d like to try to document it. So, as an homage to my favorite blog, Looks & Libros was born. Desèenme suerte.

Fittingly, I thought I’d feature my favorite subject. Simple white shirt, chunky frames, and a smile to win them all.
